Law Journal

For Practictioners

For practitioners, students, and even many other scholars, the Encyclopedia will make legal scholarship far more useful, accessible, and user friendly.

Entries of the Encyclopedia may be smaller and less deep than law reviews´articles, but will produce more frequent and organized of legal knowledge.

The Encyclopedia maybe will not compete with law journals in the case of law professors, but definitely will compete for the attention of lawyer working in the real world, or for law students preparing for practice. Real lawyers, outside the academic world, need to know what the law is right now. They need to know how the law changed yesterday afternoon. They need speed. They often do not have time to read long academic articles, nor its language. They need a focus on what the law or thejurisprudence  is or conceivably might be in the near future, not about how the law should change. And practioners like to discuss issues with other practitioners.

In fact, a law school´s primarily mission is not about training law professors, it’s about training lawyers, and lawyers read other publishing platforms.
